Our History:
Our beginnings go back to A.D. 33, when the church was established in Acts 2. The Mastin Lake Road congregation had its first inception in 1960 as a few Christians gathered in a classroom at what was then Madison Academy. A year later these families had completed a new building on Mastin Lake Road in Northwest Huntsville where, after several changes and additions, we are still meeting. But that is just our house, and not our home because we hold that the church is not somewhere we go, but someone we are.
Our home is about much more, generations of souls being united with God and family, babies being born and adults being born again. Good times have been shared and storms have been weathered, but through it all, tears and laughter, we have created a strong bond with one another through our common bond with the Lord Jesus Christ.
A look at our past is but a glimpse into our future.
Our Leadership:
Mastin Lake Road is led, as scripture prescribes, by several elders. These four men have served as loving fathers and family leaders, and have now transferred that experience to care for the family at Mastin Lake Road in the way that a shepherd cares for the sheep.
